3. While the Florida Department of Corrections is attempting to change the rules for prison inmates visitation, families are concerned with the inmates' well being. The prisoners are able to visit Saturday and Sunday within a six hour window. The department is entertaining the idea of a two hour window twice a month which will severely limit the amount of time they are able to visit family.

3. The article talks about how all of the rain that has hit Brevard County has negatively affected the citizens' golf game. The rain softens the ground which does not allow for much of a roll while playing.The article talks of different ways the courses are affected and how they can be helped.
4. The problem discussed in the article is the drainage of the golf courses within Brevard County. All of the rain is hurting the ability of playing golf.

3. The senior citizens of Brevard County are losing funding. The grants are being given to organizations that will help children instead of seniors.
4. The issue is that in a county where elder citizens outnumber children, by a long shot, the money is being given to children instead.

  1. Hey Timothy! I thought all of the articles you found definitely took into consideration important problems that people have. I feel like you focused on more specific problems, which is different from my approach as I focused on more general problems in this assignment. I specifically thought the issue of the inmate visitation hours was interesting as although it focuses on a specific group, I'm sure there are other prisons/correctional facilities that are experiencing similar issues.
